Songs Of The 80s That Defined Generations: Famous Songs Of The 80s You Can't Miss
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) If you are a fan of good music, the 80s would be a defining moment for you, even if you are not of the same generation. The 80s have given rise to some fantastic songs. Just like when you play free roulette online and hope for a successful outcome, so are the hits of the 80s capable of introducing quite a few surprises of their own, and making your day much better for having had a listen.

Ace of Spades x Motörhead

Ace of Spades is one of the most iconic songs of the 80s. It was released at the very beginning of the decade, in October 1980 by the heavy metal band Motörhead. The song was issued as a 7" vinyl single, and it was a teaser to the upcoming title album, Ace of Spades, which became one of the most iconic recordings to have ever blessed the history of rock'n'roll. The song makes allusions to gambling metaphors, mentioning cards, and dice, and talking about chance as a whole. The album itself has quite a few cool songs to it, including "Bomber," "Love Me Like a Reptile," and quite a few others.

Billie Jean x Michael Jackson

The 80s would not have been the same without Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. The song has quite a bit of history. It was first released on January 2, 1983, and it was the second single for the sixth studio album, Thriller. Just like most Michael Jackson singles, the song made it to the very top of the Billboard Hot 100. The song was associated with several of Jackson's artistic features, including his famed moonwalk which would define his entire career, outside of the other great songs to come in the following years. The song is inaugurated in the Rock and Roll Hall (Fame's 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll), and it has had multiple renditions by artists such as Miley Cyrus and Chris Cornell.

Sweet Child O' Mine x Guns N' Roses

Guns N' Roses are one of the most famous rock band of all time - there is hardly any doubt about that. Yet, one of their most famous songs, Sweet Child o' Mine wasn't born until 1988 when it quickly shot up to #5 on Billboard and was re-released again in 1989, because people couldn't get enough of it. While the song didn't climb to the first spot of any rank list, it has become a timeless hit and today, 40 years after its release, it's listened to as often as you can imagine. More interestingly, the song started as a string skipping and a bit of a joke at the time, but it was quickly picked up by Steven Adler and Slash and developed into a real composition.

Another One Bites the Dust x Queen

Another One Bites the Dust is a leading song by Queen born in the 1980s and still making its way to the top charts. The song spent 15 weeks on Billboard top 10, and was quite appreciated by fans, and even those who were new to Queen at the time. Queen's provocative and exotic look and their unique way to create music were one of a kind as well, making the band one of the most listened to throughout the 80s. The success of Another One Bites the Dust was later supplemented by "Under Pressure," another timeless song you can hear blasting out of stereos even today.

Girls Just Want To Have Fun x, Cyndi Lauper

Pop has always been fun, and no other song exemplifies it better than Girls Just Want To Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. This 80s song will set a new trend in music creation, focusing on lightsome beats and quick-paced melodies that instil good mood in every note and define generations.
