NEW YORK (Beverly Knight Fans Website) - World-renowned drum-and-bass master Aphrodite is back and geared up to unleash his latest aural weapon, "Overdrive," upon the masses.
Whether you are a dedicated fan of the drum-and-bass scene or a novice listener, this album is sure to get you tapping your hands and feet at the very least. With a reputation for being the "King of Beats", Aphrodite lives up to his name with this high energy, 21-track collection of jump-up jungle beats.

Using an array of tempos and influences ranging from hip-hop to bhangra, Aphrodite has created a mesmerizing mixture that is sure to please. Listeners are treated to an exclusive collaboration with UK soul star Beverley Knight on "Sometimes" (double 12-inch available August 9th).
"Overdrive" also features a number of Aphrodite originals, including a special remix with co-producer and former Urban Shakedown partner Mickey Finn on the album's final track. Due to hit stores this fall, "Overdrive" is an intense journey through drum-and-bass, perfect for those long, sweaty nights under the strobe lights.
