LOS ANGELES (Capitol Records) - Ten years after his untimely death at the age of 31, the music world continues to celebrate N.W.A's hardcore rap pioneer Eazy-E. On October 4, Capitol/Priority Records will release the expanded Eazy-E - Eternal E: Gangsta Memorial Edition, featuring "A LIL' Eazier Said," a previously unreleased track from Eazy's son LIL' E, as well as a DVD of music videos and public service announcements from BET and the Kaiser Family Foundation's Rap-It-Up AIDS awareness campaign.

Born Eric Wright on September 7, 1964, Eazy-E rocketed Straight Outta Compton to gangsta superstardom with Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and Yella in N.W.A, as the owner of his own Ruthless Records label and as a solo artist, before his premature death from AIDS-related causes. Between 1987 and 1991, the inimitable, most hardcore gangsta rap pioneer released four albums with N.W.A and one solo full-length album, the double-Platinum Eazy-Duz-It. Album tracks and video clips spanning Eazy-E's reign as the master of gangsta rap have been collected for Eternal E: Gangsta Memorial Edition. Paying the perfect compliment to his father's past, Eazy-E's son, 21 year old LIL' E contributes "LIL' Eazier Said," a previously unreleased track from the emerging rapper.

Partnering with the Kaiser Family Foundation and BET's Rap-It-Up campaign, the DVD will host three Rap-It-Up Public Service Announcements, creating HIV/AIDS awareness through celebrating Eazy-E, a rap pioneer who fell victim to the growing epidemic.

Since 1995, three other posthumous releases, including the album Eazy-E was recording before his death, Str8 off Tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin Compton, Eternal E, and The Impact of a Legend have been issued.

"Just remember: it's YOUR real time and YOUR real life."
- Eazy-E, in a March 1995 statement publicly announcing his illness
