NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville/ Sony BMG) - The momentum continues to swirl around dynamic new Arista Nashville hitmaker Keith Anderson, as last week's performance on NBC's Today show and the announcement of his inclusion in People magazine's 50 Hottest Bachelors issue set the stage for even more exciting news this week.
His debut single, 'Pickin' Wildflowers,' hits the country airplay Top 10 for the first time amid word that Keith has been chosen to join a select group of outstanding artists in AOL Music's exclusive Breakers program, which brings together the rich resources of AOL Music's programming to spotlight the most promising new talents on the music scene.

Anderson will be the only country artist – and one of only six performers this season – to be featured in the AOL Music program, which offers maximum visibility to Breaker artists, a level of attention normally reserved for superstar-caliber acts.

Prior Breaker success stories have included such artists as The Game, Josh Groban, Avril Lavigne, and Michelle Branch. AOL Music's belief in Keith and his selection for the program pre-date Friday's official announcement, with Anderson already having been tapped for his own edition of their popular AOL Music Sessions, which debuted in late April.

Jack Isquith, executive director of music industry relations, enthused, 'Keith is a standout artist with a unique attitude, and a great look and sound. When we sat down to determine our next round of AOL Music Breakers, we looked for acts with wide appeal, as our audience is vast and discerning. The fact that Keith is also a great songwriter makes us feel confident that Keith Anderson is a career artist, and this Breakers pick is just the beginning for Keith at AOL Music.'

On his selection for the program, Anderson said, 'I'm honored to be working with AOL Music, and it's humbling to think they would pick me out of all the great new artists out there right now. We all work hard for moments like this, and it's exciting to think of the new fans we'll reach who might not normally be tuned-in to country music.'
The bloom is definitely on this week as Keith's 'Pickin' Wildflowers' (from his debut disc, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll), hits No 10* in R&R and No 12* in Billboard.
