BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records/ www.switchfoot.com) - Complete details are yet to be announced, but San Diego rock band Switchfoot has set September 13, 2005, as the release date for NOTHING IS SOUND, the follow-up to its multi-platinum breakthrough set, THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN.
A sneak preview of one song, 'Stars,' is posted now at the band's Web site.

Switchfoot is road-testing the new material throughout the summer and will perform at major Christian music festivals including Alive (Ohio, June 24), Creation East (Pennsylvania, June 29), Cornerstone (Illinois, July 2), and Sonshine (Minnesota, July 15).
