MIAMI, FL. (Real Platinum Records) - Platinum Records Gospel Recording Artist Johnny Sanders was shot during a robbery attempt over the weekend. Reportedly, Mr. Sanders was leaving rehearsal for the play "What's On The Hearts Of Men" with Malik Yoba, and stopped for gas. While at the gas station, he was approached by a lone gunman who robbed and shot Mr. Sanders in the jaw. Mr. Sanders is recuperating in a local Miami hospital.

In a statement by his management, "Johnny is doing fine and we bless the Lord that Mr. Sanders was not taken from us. Mr. Sanders will have surgery to remove the bullet from his jaw as soon as the swelling goes down".
