New York, NY (Top40 Charts) When I heard the opening notes from the track No Fool, I immediately was aware that it was a unique band performing it. The country soul is extremely prevalent but the style and flare in the way it is performed brings it to the next level. The instruments are all perfectly in time with each other and that balances out nicely with the amazing vocals. The singer shares an incredible ability filled with heart and soul with Carrie Underwood. Her singing prowess is what brings this song over the top, like a cherry on an ice cream sundae.

The lyrics here are another high point. While the subject itself isn抰 anything new, the empowerment from the words can be felt from miles away. This is a testament to the band抯 skills. In my experience with country, this rarely happens. A country performer can have the talents or the lyrics or the melody, but to me they hardly ever come together quite as efficiently as with No Fool. Devon Worley Band should be immensely proud of this track for that reason alone.

Aside from those factors, No Fool has that mainstream appeal. The subject is a common thing for listeners to feel and think, but not always follow through with. Having songs like No Fool are sure to help promote more confidence in that area. Even when a message has been done to death, if it is performed and crafted into a track as excellent as this one, then there is always a good reason for it to exist.
