South Sudan native Jerk the DJ cites as main artistic influences Calvin Harris, Tupac Shakur, Usher, RedOne, Lady Gaga, and Timbaland. For instance, there's the collaboration with Nani (previously known as Anjali World) who is the daughter of billionaire Vivek Ranadivé, owner of the Sacramento Kings.
"We teamed up for this track which is inspired by dating and relationships," says Jerk the DJ. "Mainly the tension and uncertainty that comes with meeting someone for the first time and falling for them, but also having tension about whether or not things will move too fast."
