Divine Astronaut Release New Single 'Whither'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Divine Astronaut, an alternative electronic duo from LA have just released a brand new single called 'Whither' A trip hop infused song with 90's throwback vibes reminiscent of Massive Attack and Portishead.

Lead singer, Livvy Holland, tells us that, "I wrote 'Whither' as a reflection on how sometimes I focused on the big picture but wasn't enjoying the small victories as I pursue my goals and dreams. This song reminds to stay present, appreciative and focused."

The song was written with another meaning in mind too.
Livvy delves deeper, "And as I wrote the song, and it evolved I realized it was a prayer of sorts, that in my gratitude for these moments I was honoring the source, and for me that is at once spiritual and holy."

Divine Astronaut are an electronic group featuring singer Livvy Holland and Producer/multi instrumentalist Moonhead. The duo describe their sound as night-time music that is downtempo alternative electronica with trip hop and industrial elements.

Divine Astronaut's music is influenced by a wide range of producers, bands and singers. Moonhead has said that producers Trevor Horn and BT have been inspirational and cites bands such as Portishead, Bjork, Enigma, Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack, NIN, and Radiohead as influences.
