Hot Newcomer Keith Anderson Enjoys a Warm Northeast Welcome with Record-Breaking Weekend Concerts and Big-Time Fan Excitement

NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville) - The excitement surrounding charismatic new Arista Nashville recording artist Keith Anderson continues in a big way – from airplay to sales, and from TV and video to record-setting concert dates.
Keith's vibrant sound and fresh, dynamic energy have been resonating with fans throughout a multi-week promotional tour around the May 3 release of his Arista Nashville debut, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll. With first single, 'Pickin' Wildflowers,' now a Top 15 hit at country radio and the companion video a Top 10 favorite at CMT – Country Music Television, fans have been tuning in and turning out in force for Anderson's tour appearances.

Concerts this past weekend offered impressive stats on the native Oklahoman, who attracted more than 900 fans to WGGY/Froggy 101 radio's 'Up Close and Personal' concert series at the Brews Brothers in Pennsylvania, setting a nine-year club attendance record. A performance for WKLB Boston's annual show at Massachusetts' Tweeter Center drew what station staffers lauded as the largest-ever side-stage crowd, generating so much excitement that the on-site music retailer completely sold out of 480 copies of Keith's album, many of which Keith autographed for the 500-some fans who stayed to meet him.

Anderson was back in Nashville this week for an appearance on local CBS midday show, Talk of the Town, before a return engagement to the Grand Ole Opry tonight. Fans will be able to catch Keith on the road again as he plays the B-105 Country Music Stage at the Taste of Cincinnati on Memorial Day, with an earlier visit to the local NBC midday show.

Heading toward the 2005 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, where Keith will perform as part of the daytime concerts on June 9 (amid a bevy of other Festival-week appearances), Anderson will also be joining Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair and a host of other special guests on June 5 and 6 for the 2005 Steve McNair Celebrity Golf Classic, a charity fundraiser benefiting several special initiatives.
