Loggins & Messina Are 'Sittin' In' Again after Nearly 30 Years; July 15 Performance at Harveys Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena Announced

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. (Harveys Lake Tahoe) - Loggins & Messina, one of the most successful duos of the '70s, will hit the road this June for the first time in nearly 30 years for one of the most highly anticipated concert events of the summer, the "Sittin' In Again Reunion Tour." Presented by AEG/Concerts West, "Sittin' In Again" is set to launch on June 24 in Boise, Idaho, at The Idaho Center Amphitheatre and will feature more than 40 concert dates in major cities and venues across the country including a date in Lake Tahoe on July 15, 2005, at Harveys Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena.
Not since 1976 have audiences had the opportunity to see what critics hailed as one of the best live acts of the early '70s. Tickets for the Lake Tahoe show go on sale through Ticketmaster this Saturday, May 21, beginning at 10 a.m.

The 1972 release of (Kenny) Loggins & (Jim) Messina's "Sittin' In," originally intended as a one-off, was the smash hit debut that launched one of rock's most popular live shows, a series of gold and platinum records, Top 10 albums and more than 16 million in record sales. To this day, songs like "Your Mama Don't Dance," "Vahevala," "House At Pooh Corner," "Angry Eyes" and "Danny's Song" still resonate with music lovers nationwide.

"The Sittin' In Again Reunion Tour" will give audiences a chance to experience these songs again and will celebrate the past, present and future. In addition to performing some of their biggest hits, both Loggins and Messina will perform solo material and will feature a "Sittin' In" segment that will allow other musical guests to join them onstage.
"We're really looking forward to the audiences," said Loggins and Messina. "We're looking forward to seeing good friends from long ago as well as some friends we've picked up along the way."
