Mountain Man Releases Wilco's "You And I" Cover On Nonesuch Records

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Mountain Man—the trio of Amelia Meath, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, and Molly Sarlé—has released Mountain Man Sings Wilco, the latest in its series of cover singles, featuring its version of "You and I" from 2009's Wilco (the album). The digital single, available now via the Top40-Charts Store, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and other digital service providers, follows last month's digital release of Mountain Man's performing the Irving Berlin holiday classic "White Christmas" on Nonesuch.

"We have been band members, collaborators, friends and business partners for over 10 years now," says Mountain Man, "so a song like 'You and I,' a celebration of creating a relationship that is totally unique and filled with mystery, seemed very appropriate."

Mountain Man has also announced a series of shows in the New Year: As part of Duke Performances, it will bring COSMIC PROM to The Fruit in Durham, North Carolina, January 17-19, 2020. In collaboration with visual artist Nathaniel Russell, the trio will create three distinct experiences as part of COSMIC PROM: Beneath the Stars, Under the Canopy, and Below the Sea. The venue will transform each night into a unique and immersive environment in which audiences and Mountain Man will embrace spontaneity, imagination, and wonder. The band will explore its collective catalog, joined by special guests.
