New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "So Loaded" by the band Invinceable has recently been released. Roman and DJ Battlecat also contribute to the song and are given featuring credits.
The song, which runs over five minutes long, has multiple artists taking their turns rapping verses. All of them hold their own, and none of them sticking out as a weak link. Occasionally, there was a switch between English and Spanish in the lyrics, a move that I found to be unexpected. Still, the transition between the languages was seamless, and as such became one of the standout points in the song.
The beat in "So Loaded" also needs to be appreciated. With a mix of horn sounds and the right amount of bass, the beat complemented the lyrics and the melodies of the vocals perfectly. I did not feel that the beat was overriding the lyrics at all, which is not something that can be said for every rap song.
Lyrically, this plays as a happy song. The music video shows this by depicting the men looking pleased with their lives out on the street by their car, as well as inside next to women. The lyrics imply that they are care-free and feel that their lives are going well.
"So Loaded" is available to listen on YouTube (https://youtu.be/-P8_egvibwo), where the comments are overwhelmingly positive.
