Neo-Soul Artist Hyphen Makes His Return With 'Feels Right'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "He harnesses his personal experience with mental health problems to create lyrics which resonate with fans around the city."- London Evening Standard

"We're OK is a stunning listen!"- BBC Asian Network's Bobby Friction

"Great track!"- BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson

Having been tipped as 'The Future of British Asian Hip-Hop' by BBC Asian Network, received support from London Evening Standard, GRM Daily, BBC 6 Music played Reading and Leeds Festival, alternative hip-hop artist Hyphen returns with 'Feels Right'.

Hyphen has made quite a name for himself over the past year for his energetic, jazz infused performances. Uniquely in the world of rap, Hyphen performs alongside a 6-piece live Jazz band. His flawless performances caught the eye of BBC Introducing, and selected Hyphen to perform at Reading and Leeds Festival this year. He has also taken the stage at legendary venues such as Ronnie Scott's and Sofar Sounds.

When speaking about the track, Hyphen stated: "I wanted to capture the excitement of 'possible romance.' Sometimes the theoretical possibility of where a relationship might go is so much better than what actually happens! I think it's quite cool how in fairly unremarkable, common circumstance (a bar, with some alcohol, and people who may or may not be physically attracted to each other) our minds can create wild fantasies about 'what might be.' So the song starts at a fairly standard night out and has moments where you go to 'a paradise, birds and the ocean.' The weird speech at the end of the song about Philadelphia cheese was me just thinking I'm hilarious and throwing Jordan (my producer) off guard by saying that instead of another verse. We ended up keeping it!"
