American Pleasure Dome New Self-titled Album 'American Pleasure Dome'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) American Pleasure Dome's self-titled album features 12 tracks. It can best be described as alternative music. You can hear the album for yourself on their Bandcamp page.

Melodically, the ordering of the songs on the album serves it well. You can clearly tell when one song ends and another begins, yet it's likely they share enough of a style that you'll end up liking many more than just one song off the album. Most of the songs are based on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums. The vocals fit in well with the instrumentation; it is easy to pick up audio from all different instruments while also listening to the lyrics. I could clearly pick out a few favorites from the album, but all of the songs felt like they belonged on the album, as there really was no "bad" song.

If I had to pick only one track to recommend, I would pick Never Call. It is the seventh track off the album. What stands out the most is the harmonized chorus, featuring the lines: "We said we'd call/But we didn't call now/We'll never call at all". This line speaks to so many almost-relationships that we see happen, either to ourselves or to someone we know. Combine that with the guitar riff that follows, and this song becomes an instant highlight that I would expect to become a fan favorite.

I recommend this album to anyone looking for a new alternative band to listen to. American Pleasure Dome made an album that should be enjoyable by alternative and acoustic rock fans of all ages.
