New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Singer-songwriter and musician Donna Missal releases a new single, "You Burned Me," today for purchase and streaming from all digital partners. Donna co-wrote the song with
Dan Wilson (Adele, Halsey) and it was produced by Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, K Flay, Broods).
"This is a song for your heart in a world on fire," says Donna.
After playing a sold-out headlining show at The Courtyard Theatre in London this week, Donna joins Scottish singer-songwriter
Lewis Capaldi as a special guest on his sold-out European tour, which kicked off in Paris this week. Please see below for all upcoming dates. Capaldi is a huge fan of Donna's has raved about her in interviews with Billboard and The Line of Best Fit saying: "You can't take your eyes off her when she performs because she's overflowing with passion. Donna recently released two YouTube videos that trace her journey as an artist as well as footage from her show at London's Moth Club in January 2019 - her first-ever show outside of the U.S., bringing a full circle perspective to her return to
Europe to tour with Capaldi this week.
Donna's songs have racked up more than 28 million combined streams. Last year, she released her debut album, This Time, on Harvest Records. "This isn't a record about love and loss and relationships," she has said. "It's about taking chances for yourself, figuring out who you are and really standing behind that. I made a point of putting myself out there as a real person navigating this life at this moment in time, because I want to do whatever I can as an artist to help people feel more confident in navigating their own lives." This year Donna performed over 60 live shows, including a sold-out U.S. headlining tour. She has toured with King Princess, Bishop Briggs, K.Flay, Joywave, Sir Sly, and Barns Courtney, performed at many major festivals, including Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo, and appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
