LAS VEGAS (EAST SHORE COMMUNICATIONS/ www.creedence-revisited.com) - Stu Cook, a founder of and bassist for Creedence Clearwater Revival and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, married over the weekend. In an intimate ceremony in a courtyard at the Ritz Carlton, Cook and his bride exchanged vows. Cook's long time music partner and fellow CCR founder and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer drummer Doug " Cosmo" Clifford stood up as Cook's best man. Cook's bride is a mortgage lender. After honeymooning in Italy, the couple will make their home at Lake Tahoe. Cook and Clifford still perform up to 100 concerts a year throughout the world with their musical group Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Creedence Clearwater Revisited's CD "Recollection" (Universal/Hip-O Records) was recently certified Gold by the RIAA. A DVD release is scheduled for fall 2005.
