The Ark Studios, London was chosen for the recording of the album for its incredible vintage gear and beautiful Steinway piano, featured throughout the album. Featuring thirteen brand-new tracks, showcasing not only their trademark powerhouse blues-rock but also country and folk influences, this is as close to the whirlwind experience of a Never the Bride live show as you'll ever get - prepare yourselves!

A tribute to Dame Shirley and her emergence from Tiger Bay to be become one of the greatest female performers of all-time, it features Nikki's extraordinary vocals and the band's incredible ability to bring together elements of rock, blues and soul with lyrics that always strike home, it's the precursor to an album which sees Never the Bride at the peak of their powers.
