New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, Phantogram unveils the video for their latest single, "Into Happiness". Of the video, Phantogram says, "'Into Happiness' is a song about growth and realization of a lot of things in our lives over the years. We teamed up with Floria Sigismondi, whose work we've loved for some time; it was fun to put ourselves in her hands and let her take the video and song where she saw it going. Since we've known each other since preschool, she wanted to show our journey together throughout our lives."

Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways, David Bowie, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Rihanna) chimes in saying, "There is an Eastern myth about the red thread of fate—a string tied by the gods around one's little finger connecting them to other souls they are destined to meet. The cord may stretch or tangle, but it never breaks and their fates are always tied. The 'Into Happiness' visual plays on this concept, metaphorically exploring this connection. We meet Sarah and Josh at different ages as they move through an enigmatic dreamworld, always connected by this red string representing their passion, friendship, and music."

Released earlier this summer, the song has been praised by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Consequence Of Sound, PAPER Magazine, Paste Magazine, Under The Radar, FLOOD Magazine and many more, and it is currently climbing the Alternative Radio chart.

"Into Happiness" is Phantogram's first release in three years since their 2016 chart-topping and career-defining album,Three, which featured lead single "You Don't Get Me High Anymore." In celebration of this new chapter for the band, they will be touring North America this summer, kicking off next month on August 16th in Reno, NV and making stops at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on August 30th, New York's King Theater on September 5th, Washington, D.C.'s The Anthem on September 6th, Atlanta's Tabernacle on September 9th and more, as well as playing festival sets at Life Is Beautiful, Hopscotch Music Festival and others. The full list of tour dates and ticket information can be found online at phantogram.com/tour. Stay tuned for more new music from Phantogram!

Phantogram - the New York duo of Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel— has continued to change the zeitgeist for almost a decade by consistently challenging it with their signature blend of hard-hitting beats, guitar-driven dark psychedelia, and electronic pop. Since the arrival of 2010's Barsuk Records debut release Eyelid Movies, the pair has amassed nearly half-a-billion streams, achieved two Gold-Certified singles in the form of "Fall In Love" and "When I'm Small," headlined sold out shows worldwide, become a festival staple, and toured with artists including The xx, Muse, M83, Alt-J and more.

Their 2016 third full-length, Three, reached career-high positions on the Billboard Top 200 chart (#9) and Billboard Top Albums Sales chart (#5), as the lead single "You Don't Get Me High Anymore" climbed the alternative radio charts. The album was also met with critical acclaim from Pitchfork, Billboard, The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, People, Vogue, New York Magazine, The FADER, Stereogum, NYLON, PAPER and many others.

Three was completed in the wake of Barthel's sister's passing due to suicide, a shattering event which brought suicide prevention awareness to the forefront of the band's consciousness and has informed their charitable giving and community outreach ever since, thus their decision to donate a portion of ticket sales to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. One dollar from the purchase of each ticket to their upcoming headline performances will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
