PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) - Nearly four years ago, she kicked off the Superbowl without the ball ever leaving the tee. Now Jewel will deliver her World Series pitch even before the umpire yells, "Play ball!" The Alaskan songbird will perform the national anthem at the first game of the World Series Saturday at Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix, Arizona, according to an Atlantic Records spokesperson. After Jewel completes the Francis Scott Key tune, the New York Yankees will begin their quest for their fourth World Series title in a row, against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The performance and game will be televised on Fox beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. Jewel's new album, This Way, is scheduled for release November 13
