Tribeca Film Festival
The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff as a response to the attacks on the World Trade Center. Now in its fourth year, the Festival's mission is to promote New York City as the world's independent film capital and to foster the economic and cultural revitalization of Lower Manhattan through an annual celebration of film, music and culture. The first three editions of the Tribeca Film Festival attracted nearly one million visitors and created in excess of $125 million in economic activity for Lower Manhattan.

United Nations
Scenes of the film were shot on location at the United Nations with the cooperation of its Department of Public Information, who mission is to help fulfill the substantive purposes of the United Nations by strategically communicating the activities and concerns of the Organization to achieve the greatest public impact.
In honor of this evening, the United Nations Foundation is donating insecticide-treated bednets to prevent the spread of malaria in Africa.
Every 30 seconds, an African child dies from malaria. This can be prevented by the use of insecticide-treated bednets at night. They can remain effective for up to 5 years, and even though only cost about $5 each, they are still too expensive for most families.
That's why the United Nations Foundation Children's Malaria Fund supports United Nations agencies, including UNICEF and the World Health Organization, that are providing such nets to millions of people in Africa.
The prevention and treatment of malaria are vital to achieve the eight United Nations' Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by reducing the incidence of malaria by 2015. Adopted in 2000 by 189 countries, the MDGs provide a framework to improve overall human development.
The United Nations Foundation promotes a more peaceful, prosperous and just world through support of the United Nations. Philanthropist Ted Turner established the Foundation in 1997 with his historic gift of $1 billion to support United Nations causes.
