New York, NY (Top40 Charts) LA's Latinx psych rock band Inner Wave returns with the announcement of their new wya EP slated for release May 17 . In celebration, they share the first song from the project " Why'd You Have To Act Like That Though" that is lined with their insatiable sound. It follows their breakout projects Underwater Pipe Dreams'LP and Underwater +, which positioned them as critical press darlings and leaders of a new wave of rising Latinx artists in music right now as they continue to
clock in millions of plays online and sell out shows across the country. In addition, they will be going on a new tour starting May 7 in London, UK and wrapping in the states on June 16 in San Sacramento, CA - full dates below.
The band is made up of five young Latinos from Inglewood, CA, two of which have been playing together since the age of 13 years old. Highly influenced by their own culture and hometown, their music blends synth-wave, Latin beats, hip hop and R&B to create a sound totally unique to them. They are breaking out in the indie rock world which has traditionally grossly lacked
Latino representation and leading the new wave of rising Latinx artists in music right now.
