Blues Traveler Hits The Stage At Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The classic rock group Blues Traveler, best known for its smash hits "Run Around," "But Anyway" and "Hook," brings its iconic blues, soul and Southern rock concert to The Event Center at Rivers Casino on Saturday, April 27, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $25. Be sure to get your tickets early - Kool & The Gang, the first headliner act at The Event Center, sold out fast.

Not only has Blues Traveler dominated the music scene for many decades, its catchy melodies and powerful all-encompassing rock sound have earned the group a Grammy Award, their platinum "four" album, singles on the Billboard 200 and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts, and numerous songs in many popular feature films and television shows.

Formed in 1987 in Princeton, New Jersey, Blues Traveler has over 30 years of experience in the music industry. With 13 studio albums, the band's unprecedented sound has given the group notable recognition and an impressive resume. Blues Traveler appeared at Woodstock '94, opened for The Rolling Stones, played on Saturday Night Live, wrote the theme song for "Roseanne" in its final season and was featured on the show, and appeared in the movie "Blues Brothers 2000."
"Blues Traveler is an iconic 'blues' rock group and we're excited for them to perform at The Event Center," said Rivers Casino General Manager Bill Keena. Tickets for the Blues Traveler show and for all Rivers Casino Pittsburgh performances can be purchased at the Rivers Casino Gift Shop or at RiversCasino.com.

In addition to live performances and concerts, The Event Center at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh can be reserved for a variety of occasions, including corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows, weddings and more.
