Hustler Hollywood Launches New Record Label

LOS ANGELES (Hustler Hollywood Records/ www.hustlerevents.com) - Hustler Hollywood's stable of successful entertainment properties grows with the addition of a new record label. Hustler Hollywood Records' mission is to deliver a cadre of new, cutting-edge faces to the music-buying public.

This commitment begins at the A&R level. Focusing on musicianship and originality, Hustler Hollywood Records encourages their artists to break new ground by allowing them a level of creative autonomy that has become increasingly rare at the major labels. It is with this freedom that HHR's artists will be able to achieve their artistic goals and connect with their fan-base.

Superunknown, a powerful quartet hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, is the first musical act to sign with Hustler Hollywood Records. Combining their individual influences, Superunknown has crafted a sound that contains all that's right about rock and roll: crushing drums, pounding bass, ripping guitars, and powerful vocals. Superunknown delivers these elements with an authority reminiscent of rock bands from the past but with a modern sound and social consciousness that music fans have been missing.

Superunknown's first single "Forever" is a contemplative piece written for the victims of December's tragic tsunami disaster. The band has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Red Cross Relief Fund for each CD sold. Inspired by their generosity, Hustler Hollywood has pledged to match the donation. Superunknown will be releasing their first single "Forever" exclusively in Hustler Hollywood store locations on Tuesday, April 12, 2005.

Superunknown's first full release on Hustler Hollywood Records will be in all retail stores in July 2005.
