Pre-Orders For The Starting Line's Based On A True Story Begin Monday

LOS ANGELES (Geffen Records) - After selling over 300,000 copies of their 2002 debut CD Say It Like You Mean It, The Starting Line return with Based On A True Story. This CD, set for release on Drive-Thru/Geffen Records on May 10th, offers more bang-for-the-buck for those who pre-order beginning Monday, April 11th. All order placed during the first week of pre-order will receive an autographed copy of Based On A True Story. Additionally, all orders placed before album's release will be entered into a contest for a chance to win a Fender Telecaster guitar and a guitar lesson from a member of The Starting Line. The Pennsylvania-based quartet is currently on a U.S. club tour, will headline the Bamboozle Fest at Asbury Park, NJ on April 30th and can be seen on the main stage at this summer's Warped Tour. The starting line-up of The Starting Line is Ken Vasoli on vocals and bass, Tom Gryskiewicz on drums, and Matt Watts and Mike Golla on guitars. They made their recording debut with the five-song EP With Hopes of Starting Over from 2001, followed by Say It Like You Mean It. Last year, the band released another EP, Make Yourself At Home.
