Kemba Drops New Single "Deadass"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, rising Bronx rapper Kemba shares his new single "Deadass." The track was personally selected by Ebro for his Beats 1 show on Apple Music. The artist once again taps into the essence of classic New York hip-hop. "Deadass" shoots as straight as his hometown and drops East Coast gems. It acts as follow up to last year's release, "Exhale" [feat. Smino], which clocked upwards of 316K Spotify streams and counting.

He takes these tracks and more on the road supporting Basstracks on the upcoming Vibrant Tour, kicking off January 30 th in Boston, MA and running through March 9 th in Denver, CO. Check out the full itinerary below.
The voice of New York's next generation has formally arrived.

It makes perfect sense Kemba calls The Bronx—the birthplace of hip-hop—home. He literally carries the genre with him everywhere. Making a name for himself as a fan favorite under the name of YC The Cynic, he dropped a series of lauded projects and songs from 2010 through 2013. Adopting the moniker Kemba, he ignited his rise with the album Negus . In addition to a highly cited interview on Real Late W/Peter Rosenberg, he joined Kendrick Lamar on stage during an American Express-sponsored concert live-streamed online. His skills not only impressed Kendrick but also caught the eye of Brasstracks (Chance The Rapper's "No Problem"), who reached out and went to work, helping Kemba craft his forthcoming album due out this year.
