SYDNEY, Australia (SONY Music Australia) - Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden have debuted at No 1 on the ARIA Top 50 singles chart with their gorgeous duet, 'Almost Here', giving Delta her seventh chart-topping smash hit. "I was so excited to get the news that the single was No 1," Delta said.
Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden's duet 'Almost Here' has claimed the No 1 spot on the ARIA Top 50 singles chart this week, hot on the heels of the duo's incredibly successful promotional visit to Australia.

'Almost Here' - also the No 1 song on the National Radio Airplay chart for the fourth week in a row this week - is the second No 1 single from Delta's current album 'Mistaken Identity' and follows similar chart-topping success in Europe, where it hit No 3 in the UK and debuted at No 1 in Ireland.

Continuing her record-breaking reign in the Australia, 'Almost Here' also now holds the title of Delta's seventh No 1 single on the ARIA charts and has already broken Gold sales.

Delta received word that 'Almost Here' had debuted in the top spot on the charts as she was departing for a promo tour of Germany (where she and Brian are nominated for Best International Female and Best International Male at the Bravo Awards), and was understandably over the moon.
"I was so excited to get the news that the single was No 1. It was great to be back in Australia and see all the wonderful fans who have been so supportive to me and my music," she said.

Delta's popularity was underscored by the record crowds that attended her instore appearances in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane last week. Fans will have another chance to see Delta perform when she kicks off her national tour in Perth this July.
