New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today marks the much-anticipated release of Antares—the debut album from chart-topping Chinese recording artist / songwriter / producer / actor Kris Wu. Released via Ace Unit/Interscope Records/Universal Music, Antares is available now through all digital retailers.

With its lineup of A-list producers - FKi 1st, Wondagurl, Frank Dukes, to name just a few - Antares includes Wu's latest single "Coupe" ft. Rich the Kid. An especially meaningful track for Wu, "November Rain" features production from Murda Beatz (Drake, Migos, French Montana). In addition, the album showcases Wu's magnetic appeal and powerful vocal presence on songs like "Freedom" ft. Jhené Aiko (a melodic rap track accompanied by an intergalactic video) and "Like That" (a lush and dreamy single that debuted at #73 on the Billboard Hot 100 and hit #1 on the US iTunes chart after premiering in May).

As Wu continues his rise as a global superstar, the burgeoning fashion icon has been named Louis Vuitton's new ambassador. Made on October 31, the luxury label's announcement was accompanied by a photo series featuring Wu in the spring/summer 2019 men's collection by artistic director Virgil Abloh.

Last October, Wu became the first-ever Chinese artist to reach #1 on the US iTunes Chart, thanks to the smash success of his single "Deserve" ft. Travis Scott. Along with breaking the Top 40 on US Rhythmic radio, "Deserve" has racked up more than a billion streams globally.

One of Asia's biggest stars, 27-year-old Wu was born in Guangzhou, China. Over the past two years, he's gained an international following with a series of viral hits that he co-wrote and co-produced (including "July," "6," "B.M.," and "Juice"). With those tracks amassing millions of plays online and attracting a major fanbase in the US, he's also starred in movies like XxX: Return of Xander Cage and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. In addition, he serves as a global brand ambassador for BVLGARI and, in early 2018, was tapped as an ambassador for the NFL (becoming the first Chinese artist ever to perform at Super Bowl LIVE). In April, Wu signed an exclusive international recording agreement with Interscope Records/Universal Music Group (UMG).
