Amy Winehouse Hologram Live Tour Set For 2019!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The late Amy Winehouse will return to the stage as a hologram for a live tour, according to reports. Proceeds from the tour, which is set to launch at the end of 2019, will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The foundation is dedicated drug and alcohol abuse awareness and prevention among young people.
Seven years ago, the British Grammy winner died at the age of 27 after after publicly battling drug and alcohol addiction.

BASE Hologram is producing the tour in partnership with the Winehouse family. They use holographic film technology to produce live entertainment tours and attractions worldwide.
The tour will featured digitally remastered arrangements of Winehouse's hit songs including "Rehab," "Back to Black" and "Valerie." According to BASE, Winehouse's hologram will be backed by a live band, singers and "theatrical stagecraft."

The late singer's father Mitch Winehouse, tweeted his support of the project saying, "Our family is delighted to be teaming up with @BASEhologram to continue celebrating the life and work of Amy, with all proceeds of the tour, starting in late 2019, going to Amy's Foundation to help even more young people in her name."
Announcing the tour, Brian Becker, founder and CEO, BASE Entertainment and BASE Hologram, said, "Amy was a powerhouse in every sense of the word. She played by her own rules, pioneered her own sense of style of music and because of that we know she is the perfect person to headline this type of project."
