Cleveland (AP) - For the second time in recent memory, Snoop Dogg's tour bus is the subject of a marijuana bust. Two of the rapper's buses were pulled over for speeding on Interstate 90 west of Cleveland on Wednesday (Oct. 17), according to the Associated Press. Ohio State Patrol officers smelled marijuana coming from one of them and using drug-sniffing dogs, entered the vehicle and discovered six bags of the drug weighing in at 200 grams. Snoop Dogg and two fellow passengers were charged with possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, which carries a maximum fine of $250 and 30 days in jail. The rapper and his entourage were reportedly very cooperative with police and released. Appropriately enough, Snoop Dogg is currently on the road for his Puff, Puff, Pass 2001 tour, a reference to proper marijuana smoking etiquette. The tour hits Milwaukee on Thursday (Oct. 18). In a similar case, Snoop's tour bus was stopped near the U.S.-Mexican border in San Diego in 2000, where border patrol officers discovered marijuana as well. In that case, members of Snoop's entourage claimed ownership of the drugs, and the rapper was not charged.
