New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today Arkells officially release "American Screams" another new track off their highly anticipated studio album "Rally Cry" set for release on October 19th. The song set social media aflutter when it was unofficially released earlier in the week through a hotline currently advertised on a non-descript billboard set up in Buffalo, New York. The billboard reads: "Can't sleep off those American Screams? Call 1.888.426.8856."

When dialing in to the number, callers had two options: "Hey you've reached the American Screams hotline. If you'd like to hear our new song, please Press 1; If you'd like to leave a message for the Arkells, Press 2." A picture of the billboard quickly went viral and the hotline has been experiencing a higher than normal call volume with fans noting that they are calling in upwards of 100x to get an advance listen of the track.
"While touring across America, the band observed there's nothing more isolating and bleak than a God-fearing billboard," explains singer Max Kerman. "The lyric 'All the billboards, they get me lonely' was the impetus for the whole Buffalo billboard concept. In the modern age, the band is always looking for ways to connect the physical world in a way that might spill in to the digital sphere.

We've become paralyzed because of the hysterical conversations between the left and the right. We're able to justify any action by whatever our 'guiding book' is or says and we fail to realize how we're all connected - and that's a really lonely place to be."

"American Screams" is the fourth track to be released off Arkells' highly anticipated new studio album Rally Cry. Current single "Relentless" is charting top 5 at radio and debuted this week in Budweiser's latest commercial campaign.

Fans can pre-order Rally Cry, which is produced by Eric Ratz (Knocking At The Door, Leather Jacket), mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac) and mastered by Greg Calbi (Arcade Fire, Kacy Musgraves). In addition to "American Screams" and "Relentless," "Only For A Moment," and "People's Champ" will be available as instant-grat tracks, from the 10-song studio album.
