LOS ANGELES  (Buddy Guy Fans Website) - 2005 is looking like another great year for Blues-Legend Buddy Guy. On March 14th, Buddy will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and on March 15th will be re-releasing the Grammy Award winning Damn Right, I've Got The Blues. Buddy is currently in the studio recording for his next album due out later this year.

Buddy will join U2, Percy Sledge, The O'Jays and The Pretenders at the 20th Annual Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony to be held March 14th in New York City. Past inductees include: Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Cream and Bob Dylan.

To celebrate Buddy Guy, The Zomba Label Group announces the expanded edition of the Grammy-winning release, Damn Right, I've Got The Blues, which one for Best Contemporary Blues Album. This special edition includes 2 tracks previously unavailable in the U.S., "Doin' What I Like Best" and "Trouble Don't Last", both of which were released as b-sides in the UK.

Additionally, on March 15, Zomba willrelease Best Of The Silvertone Years 1991-2005, a 38-track digital "box-set", which will be available fordownload exclusively through the iTunes Music Store for a limited period of time. This specially-priced set will include three never before released bonus tracks "Bad Blood", "Need A Friend" and "Totally Out Of Control".

Buddy Guy is an internationally renowned blues guitarist, singer and showman who is considered the master of Chicago-style electric blues. In a career spanning more than 45 years, he has received 5 Grammy Awards, 21 W.C. Handy Awards, a Billboard Century Award and in 2003, President Bush presented Buddy with The Metal of Arts, which was established by Congress in 1984.

Buddy Guy is currently recording his new studio album due out later this year that is being produced by Steve Jordan (Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Keith Richards, Fabulous Thunderbirds). Musicians collaborating w/ Buddy will include Keb Mo, Danny Kortchmar, Willie Weeks and Bernie Worrell.
