Roxana Bajdechi, piano, in a performance of Bart�k's Concerto No. 3 for

Hangen
serves as the Principal Conductor of the Orchestra, and directs the
Conservatory's orchestra and conducting programs. He also serves as
Principal Guest Conductor of the
Boston Pops Orchestra and as Music
Director of the Indian Hill Symphony. He has conducted many of the
country's leading orchestras, and spent 10 years as Artistic and
General
Director of the Portland (Maine) Opera Repertory Theater, a
company he founded.
