Pe�a will perform in a Latin music showcase at the South By Southwest
Music Festival and Conference in Austin, Texas, which will take place
Saturday, March 19 at 8:00 PM at Mambo Kings.
This will be
Pe�a's first time participating in the festival, which gives both
independent and signed artists the opportunity to gain exposure to a
multitude of fans and music industry professionals from around the
globe. Other artists scheduled to perform with Pe�a are Superlitio,
Ni�o Astronauta, Volovan, and Cuban Cowboys.
"Austin is a great
place for live music and we're happy to have a chance to share what we
do with the people over there. We're also looking forward to seeing the
Doves perform," exclaims Pe�a. Other performers featured at the SXSW
Music Festival this year include Elvis Costello, Billy Idol, Aimee
Mann,
Vanilla Ice and many more.

Pe�a
is currently promoting the second single from his album, Anormal,
distributed by DLN Distribution. The track, D�nde estabas?, is
receiving airplay on radio stations throughout the country and is
currently #13 on the
Radio & Records Magazine chart for Spanish
Rock/Alternative music. Several other tracks on the record also remain
on the R&R play lists.
Pe�a's visit to
Texas for SXSW will
allow him the opportunity to share his music with the state including
co-headlining Hard Rock Caf� in Dallas on Friday, March 18 at 10:00 PM.
The show is sponsored by M�s Musica TV, which is currently airing the
videos for D�nde estabas? and Hey T� (Imb�cil) in high rotation. Other
performers include Volovan, Vaquero and local band Morvius.
Currently
in its 19th year, the SXSW
Music Conference, by day, offers artists,
record executives and radio players the chance to gather at the Austin
Convention Center to participate in panel discussions, demo listening
sessions and mentor sessions where they can exchange ideas and discuss
the future of the music industry. By night, the SXSW
Music Festival
showcases bands and solo artists at venues around the city of Austin,
deemed the "Live
Music Capital of the World."
