The Ultra Releases Video For New Single "Getaway"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Boston's newest buzz band THE ULTRA have a lot to celebrate this month. The foursome comprised of Alec MacGillivray (vocals), Sam August (guitar), Shaq Druyan (drums) and Pat Lyons (bass), released the video for their current single "Getaway" on August 8th and will continue to perform at Foxwoods Resort Casino in partnership with iHeart Media and Pepsi this August. In addition, THE ULTRA have been nominated for 4 New England Music Awards (including Rock Act of the Year, Live Act of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year) and will continue to tour throughout the Northeast at various venues including New York City's Rockwood Music Hall on September 7th.

"Getaway" is the first single from THE ULTRA's upcoming EP and was recorded in Los Angeles, CA with uber producer and engineer Courtney Ballard (Good Charlotte, Five Seconds of Summer, All-Time Low, Tori Kelly). THE ULTRA's debut EP was released last February (where it debuted in the Top 50 on iTunes charts) and received worldwide pre-orders and an immediate jump to #9 on Billboard's Northeast Heatseeker chart within a week of release. This summer, THE ULTRA have headlined Live Nation venue Brighton Music Hall and will perform at the venues listed below.
