Mark Chesnutt Meets A Fan That's Truly An Angel

NASHVILLE, TN. (Vivaton Records) - Mark Chesnutt recently played an intimate acoustic show at the Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez, CA. At the close of the two-hour sold-out show, Mark opened up the floor to take requests. Out of the dark came a familiar voice asking him to play his No. 1 single (and her personal favorite) 'I Just Wanted You To Know' (MCA-1993).
Mark obliged. A few songs later, the angelic and familiar voice sang out a second request for Mark to perform her all-time country favorite, an old Hank Williams' song, 'I Can't Believe She's Still In Love With Me.'
Soaked with curiosity and determined to put a name to the familiar voice, Mark asked the sound man to lift the lights a bit to enable him to see the woman behind the voice. It was an angel. The angel was Cheryl Ladd.
After the show, Mark and Cheryl exchanged autographs.
Mark's current single 'I'm A Saint' is No. 32 on the R&R Chart and at No. 34 on Billboard.
