BOSTON, MA. (New England Metal and Hardcore Festival) - Decibel Magazine has signed on as presenting sponsor of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.

"Every year MassConcerts assembles the best metal and hardcore bands on planet Earth, the same bands that fill the pages of Decibel Magazine every month," said Decibel publisher Alex Mulcahy. "We couldn't be happier with this affiliation - and we can't wait to meet all of the current and future Decibel subscribers in person."

The seventh annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will take place at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass., on Friday, April 22, Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.

Hatebreed, Unearth and Obituary are confirmed as headliners for Friday night. Saturday's headliners will include Chimaira and Cryptopsy. Sunday's headliners are King Diamond, Nile and Soilwork. A replacement for the previously announced Nightwish, who had to cancel their North American tour, will be announced soon.
