Music Foundation) - The Austin
Music Foundation (AMF) today
announced that it will host the first
Music Industry Boot Camp (MIBC)
of 2005 on Monday, February 28th. Titled, "CD Release in Real Time:
Plan it from start-to-finish in two hours," this session of the 2005
MIBC series will be hosted at, Tambaleo from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
During
this interactive strategy session, a select group of industry experts
will take aspiring artists through the entire CD release process in
just two hours. Prior to the session, one attending musician will be
randomly selected to join the panelists on stage to devise a
production, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, tour and launch
party plan for their CD.
The MIBC series presents excellent
opportunities for local musicians to meet and network with peers in the
Austin music community. Panelists for each MIBC are experts in their
respective fields, donating their knowledge and expertise to strengthen
