New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Muse's current single "Thought Contagion" has reached No. 1 at Alternative Radio, marking the band's fifth time topping the Alternative chart, following "Resistance", "Uprising", "Dead Inside", and "Madness" (which spent a record-setting 19 weeks at #1). "Thought Contagion" was originally released in February of this year along with an accompanying music video, directed by Lance Drake.

Matt Bellamy said of the track: "The meaning of the song 'Thought Contagion' is about how other people's thoughts, ideas and beliefs can sometimes infect your mind, get into your head and change the way you think yourself".

Muse recently announced the release of Drones World Tour, a one-night only event in cinemas worldwide on July 12th. The film will bring the Drones'in the round' spectacular to the big screen and contains never-before-seen special effects, perfectly complimenting the creative stage production and ensuring the ultimate audio / visual sensory experience. Visit musedrones.filmfor ticket info.

The band will spend June playing at festivals around the world, including Bonnaroo and Rock In Rio. For a complete list of upcoming live dates, click HERE.
