Annual Mother's Day Good Music Festival Brings Superstars Of R&B And Soul To Barclays Center
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Annual Mother's Day GOOD MUSIC FESTIVAL Brings Superstars Of R&B And Soul To Barclays CenterAn extraordinary lineup featuring soul and rhythm-and-blues icons Charlie Wilson, Boyz II Men, Kem and Joe will take the stage for the 3rd Annual Mother's Day Good Music Festival. The concert honoring mothers and the music they love is set for Saturday, May 12 at 8 p.m. at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Headliner Charlie Wilson is a legendary R&B and soul singer sure to get fans dancing in the aisles. Wilson first made his name as lead singer of The Gap Band, the influential 1970s funk/boogie/soul pioneers that produced such hits as "Party Train," "Early in the Morning" and Outstanding." His solo efforts include the No. 1 R&B albums "Uncle Charlie" and "Love, Charlie." His latest disc, "In It to Win It," was released last year. The much-feted artist is a recipient of several prestigious honors including an NAACP Image Award, BET Lifetime Achievement Award and Soul Train Icon Award. He has also been named a Billboard No. 1 Adult R&B Artist and earned 11 Grammy Award nominations.

International sensation Boyz II Men exploded onto the scene with a unique mix of R&B, soul and new jack swing in the early 1990s. Their debut album, "Cooleyhighharmony," won the 1992 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance. The a cappella group has sold tens of millions of albums buoyed by record-breaking smash hits like the audience-melting ballad "End of the Road," "On Bended Knee" and "One Sweet Day," the latter of which featured Mariah Carey and remained perched at No. 1 on the Billboard Singles chart for an astounding 16 weeks. Boyz II Men has been a consistent force in the music world throughout its more than 25 year career. Their recent albums include the critical and commercial successes "Under the Streetlight," "Collide" and "Twenty."

Singer-songwriter-producer Kem is a success story on every level. He overcame homelessness and addiction through music and spirituality and is known for a classic, smooth sound that resonates with all ages. He's best known for songs like "Why Would You Stay," "I Can't Stop Loving You" and "If It's Love." Kem's latest album, "Promise to Love," was a crossover success. The disc hit No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Album chart and No. 3 on the Top 200 albums chart. Seven-time Grammy nominee Joe has been producing great music for 25 years with hit albums like "My Name is Joe," "Ain't Nothin' Like Me" and his most recent release, "My Name is Joe Thomas."
