Jean Grae & Quelle Chris's 'Everything's Fine' Gets Pitchfork "Best New Music"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jean Grae & Quelle Chris have unleashed their sprawling and incisive opus of a collaborative album 'Everything's Fine,' out now on Mello Music Group. The hilarious and harrowing hip-hop LP has been met with raves from Pitchfork Best New Music, NPR, Rolling Stone, a Village Voice feature and more. Jean and Quelle will also appear on Viceland's Desus & Mero late-night talk show on Thursday, April 5.

'Everything's Fine' boasts features from Michael Che, Nick Offerman, John Hodgman, Anna Wise, Hannibal Buress, and many more. Rolling Stone named it their Rap Release of the Month for March.

Watch the 32-bit video game music video for "Zero" below, which was directed and animated by Quelle Chris. Wired called it "a totally nostalgic head trip set to Quelle's chiptune-esque beat and Grae's Rachmaninoff-referencing raps".

The video for "Gold, Purple, Orange," features cameos from Eric Andre, Hannibal Buress, Anna Wise and more.

PRAISE FOR 'EVERYTHING'S FINE':
"Part biting satire, part cognitive behavioral therapy…a hilarious, caustic, and gorgeous consideration of what it really means to be 'fine' today." - Pitchfork Best New Music

"The soundtrack we've been awaiting to animate our national absurdity." - NPR First Listen
"The re-emergence of Jean Grae, arguably one of the best bar-for-bar rap vocalists of her generation." - Rolling Stone

"It's not only a record of the moment, it's easily one of the best I've ever heard." - Marcus J. Moore, Bandcamp

"Natural chemistry bubbling with sardonic wit and steeped in an incisive, humanistic appreciation for humanity's quirks and idiosyncrasies." - SPIN

"Pure genius raw talent…we're along for the ride and never feel like getting off." - Top40-Charts.com

"Solidifies [Jean and Quelle's] idiosyncratic style, combining commentary and cutting-edge humor." - Pigeons and Planes

"Crackles with the fury and frustration of contemporary black life, but refuses to fold itself neatly into easily consumable beats and hum-along refrains...It's a sprawling and intentionally distancing record, but never less than fascinating." - AV Club

"Biting social commentary and an excellent display of rapping, and it's not everyday that those two things come packaged together the way they are here." - Brooklyn Vegan

"Combines hilarious tongue-in-cheek sketches and mild-yet-lethal social observations that sneak up like carbon monoxide…a triumph for this pair of virtuoso blerds." - Bust (5 out of 5)

"A stunningly straightforward reflection on life's many speed bumps, both small and large and an honest meditation on the benefits of addressing them head-on." - Uproxx
