Artist Matthew Schultz Releases "Promise For Keeps" Featuring Gyptian

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New Jersey based electro-pop artist, Matthew Schultz, is excited to announce the release of his new single and video "Promise for Keeps (Official Remix)" featuring Billboard renowned artist Gyptian. Hollywood Life recently premiered the video for the song, calling the song "epic".

Schultz decided to team up with Jamaican reggae singer Gyptian on this remix to "create that true Caribbean feel" and to "reflect happiness and the emotions that I felt when I was initially creating it." Based on his own real life relationship, Schultz wrote the song about having a long-term commitment with the love his life.

The track contains vocals from both Gyptian and Matthew Schultz set to a reggae beat, giving the original song a radical transformation musically. Schultz literally reached out to Gyptian on Instagram, asking if he would like to collaborate with him. Gyptian agreed after hearing the song, and the remix was recorded in a few days. The song was produced by Schultz himself and Johnny Thomas Jr.

Matthew has been featured on Hollywood Life and All Access Music. He has charted on the California Music Channel for five consecutive weeks reaching #107. Recently, "Promise For Keeps" Remix has charted #18 on MusicWeek in the UK.
