Tennessee Musician Bogues Releasing Sophomore EP 'Life Slowly' On March 2, 2018
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bogues is a stripped down indie project from Nashville, TN musician AJ Gruenewald. He draws influence from artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and The Hotelier. His sophomore EP 'Life, Slowly' is out March 2nd and is available for pre-order at: https://bogues.limitedrun.com/.

A track off the EP ("Orchard to Bartnick") is now streaming on The Alternative: https://www.getalternative.com/track-premiere-bogues-orchard-to-bartnick/.

"On "Orchard to Bartnick," Bogues reflects on the weight of change and the uncertainty that comes with it. The track moves slowly and deliberately as fluttering instrumentals swell in and out of the scene. From beginning to end, Bogues paints with a brush spilling with raw emotion, pouring different colors and feelings into each stroke. "Orchard to Bartnick" shows Bogues coming to the understanding that change and growth sometimes means losing something in the process. Whether you're the one moving or being left behind, he realizes it's a part of growing up." - The Alternative

"The song is basically about noticing a change in your life well after it's happened, and the doubt that comes with whether it was good or if you've done something wrong" - Bogues

Catch Bogues on tour with Fossil Youth, Rich People and Northbound in February and on the Life Slowly release tour, with support from Safe Bet, in March.
