 NEW
YORK (www.myspace.com/fixer) Fixer's new EP, Mixing In With My Blood,
is due out in March, but their fans just can't wait that long to get
their ears on the band's new tunes. That's why Fixer (Evan
Saffer-frontman, Wilson Lihn-guitar, J Brown-bass, The Reverend Diamond
Tim Newton-drums) decided to stream the songs on MYSpace
(www.myspace.com/fixer) while they are busy behind-the-scenes working
on the album's cover art and final mixing. Mixing In With My
Blood is the New York City band's fourth independent release. Tracks
were recorded with Jeff Tomei (Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox 20, Jerry
Cantrell) and Brian Howes (Closure) at Cock of The Walk Studios in
Kennesaw, Georgia and at Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger's Mountain
View Studios in Vancouver, Canada. Fixer will start the new
year off rockin' audiences throughout the east coast with their live
performances, which Garage Radio calls "the epitome of Rock and
Roll...galvanizing showmanship...heavy guitar and drums...Saffer's
vocals are astoundingly melodic." Also, look for Fixer at the
Le Freak Fetish Festival. Frontman Evan Saffer makes his big screen
debut on March 1 when the indie film, Waterproof, he acts in premieres
in New York City. Fixer's song "Two Into One," is on the soundtrack.
