NASHVILLE, TN. (RCA Records) - New country duo, The Wrights, combine fresh beginnings with a certain well-intended sense of repetition in their very first video, shot this week, visually bringing to life their debut single, 'Down This Road,' the title track to their ACR / RCA Records album, slated for release May 3. The video, filmed by noted director Steven Goldmann, brought the talented husband and wife pair of Shannon and Adam Wright to Tennessee's historic Rippavilla Plantation to capture the essence of the song's message - one of familiar feelings and situations that seem to recur time and again. With Shannon's engaging vocal taking lead on the song (which she also wrote), 'Down This Road' is poised to take flight on radio airwaves, with the video soon to follow. While showcasing the new duo's star power, the video also includes a cameo from superstar, and Adam's uncle, Alan Jackson. Signed to Jackson's independent label, ACR (Alan's Country Records), and released in association with RCA Records Nashville, The Wrights' debut album, comprised of 12 self-penned tracks, was co-produced by Keith Stegall and John Kelton.
