 PHILADELPHIA, PA. (Aziz Collins PR) - The West Philadelphia native group, United Soul, which is comprised of the vocal stylings of Joshua and Aziz Collins, will release its first independent album, Reservations, on February 8, 2005. This highly anticipated project will include the single 'He Don't' which was featured on Hidden Beach Recordings' compilation album Hidden Hits, released in the summer of 2003. The album will also include the single 'Best of Me' which won the duo the Heineken Music Initiative/ASCAP Foundation R&B Grant. Reservations includes 13 tracks written by United Soul and features the production of Grammy nominated producers Robert 'P-Nutt' Frost and Anthony Bell. Atlantic recording artist Phonte of the groups Foreign Exchange and Little Brother and Baby Grande recording artist Jean Grae are some of the collaborators appearing on the album. Reservations will be available for sale through United Soul's website, www.unitedsoulmusic.com and in select stores for $10. United Soul has gained a significant following and local success through their performances at renowned venues the Five Spot, the Trocadero and Joe's Pub. Their talents have granted them featured appearances on Tiffany Bacon's show 'Inner City' on Power 99. They have also won numerous awards including second place in the Billboard World Song Contest for their single 'Best of Me'.
