New York, NY (Top40 Charts) When you think of Hawaii, you naturally would not think of ROCK MUSIC. Yet contrary to mainstream thought, during the last couple of years more and more artists and musicians have abandon the cities, like New York, DC,
Chicago & Los Angeles to opted instead for island life. Thus making HAWAII the new untapped hotbed of music.
In 2017, one new artist that is breaking his way to mainstream is local rock star singer & musician STUART HOLLINGER. Born and raised in Kaimuki, Oahu, his passion and taste for music grew from listening to American rock bands and picking up a guitar. Ever since the age of 16 he has never looked back.
He began to grow his local buzz touring with his band thru the islands and eventually took the money he made from touring to re invest it into recording a full-length album. Much to Stuarts surprise he successfully followed by releasing 2 highly acclaimed studio albums which eventually won in 2014 & 2016 the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards which is the equivalent of the islands version of the Grammys.
Although these were great strides STUART wanted to expand and grow of out just being an "island artist" into a more known mainstream level. He began by focusing on looking for a new home to release his new material. He searched for a brand that will have a bigger platform for his music. Having come across New York City Record Label CEO OSCAR SANCHEZ at AFFLUENT RECORDS.
Stuart explained his vision and created a new relationship. To which then opened the foundation for his new home on a more mainstream field.
Stuart then re-released his last album on AFFLUENT RECORDS entitled "ENDANGERED SPECIES" just to break his name thru the system. Today STUART is in the studio with his musical director putting the finishing touches on his 3rd studio album entitled "ECLECTIC". "This album is exactly what I have been aiming for. The album is 100% geared towards the more mainstream rock radio format and cant wait till radio programmers and fans hear this. We added so much color to these songs to make each one feel and sound like a "SINGLE" not just a track", says HOLLINGER.
The new album ECLECTIC is slated for FALL 20017 release on AFFLUENT - ORCHARD - SONY. While the NEW SINGLE "NEVA B" will be available in stores SEPTEMBER 11, 2017.
