NASHVILLE, TN. (DaCapo Music) - Indie Music Week, one of the most important conferences for independent musicians, singers, artists and management, is now accepting submissions for their exclusive Artist Showcases. Showcase submissions are already pouring in and artists are asked to submit their promo kit and demos early.

Indie Music Week will be held during the weekend of March 11th -12th in Nashville, Tennessee, at the prestigious Nashville Marriott hotel. The event will feature a stellar array of top, well-known record label executives and decision-makers as well as promoters, producers, managers, agents and consultants. Indie Music Week will include seminars and panels made up of experts from many areas of the music industry. Some of the speakers will include representatives from Universal Music Group, Universal South, Lyric Street Records (Disney), Sony Music, Broken Bow Records, Vivaton Records and many more. In addition to the panels, Indie Music Week will also feature two nights of exclusive Artist Showcases where IMW attendees will have the opportunity to display their talents to the industry at Nashville's legendary Douglas Corner Caf. There are a limited number of showcase spots available to artists and bands. In order to be considered, a press kit and demo must be sent to DaCapo Music no later than February 21, 2005.
