Santa Cruz, CA, based singer-songwriter Austin Shaw spent the spring on a national sold-out tour with David Bromberg followed by a handful of July dates with dada and in-between he wrapped up recording on his debut full-length album FELT, due out on September 15.

Earlier this year Shaw released this EP comprised of selections from his forthcoming album Felt. The full-length album will be released on September 15. Felt, dives deep into the human spirit, expressing the pain, joy and complications of life in a way we've all felt. His songs are diaries glowing with warm, intricate layers. They feature catchy guitar hooks and soul-baring lyrics that offer up Shaw's perspectives on love, loss, longing and self-discovery.

Shaw was joined in the studio by Robert L. Smith (Producer/Defy Recordings,) and the album features the talents of guitarist Larry Saltzman (Paul Simon,) drummer Joe Bonadio (Sting,) bassist Malcolm Gold and vocalist Clara Lofaro.
