Charles Bordeaux - No More Thorns

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Brooklyn's Charles Bordeaux is back on Emerald & Doreen with his new EP.

The lyrics were all written in one night, telling stories with silly undertones and nostalgic cantor. Each track is full of lush sounds, ranging from homemade samples, a piano from 1920 with Ivory keys, whistling, scats, midi instruments, and vocal howls. The results: a beautiful mini-album made of self-made samples, LoFi beats, imperfect mixing-and that's what I think makes it enjoyable.
